Lesley Osuala is a Nigerian American actor, writer, and stand-up comedian. His

work has been featured on Comedy Central, Bleacher Report, Comedy.Com, and

various other media outlets. In 2017 Lesley was a performer and finalist in the

NBC Universal/UCB Diversity Showcase. He is an alumnus of the Upright

Citizens Brigade Theatre, where he was a mainstage sketch comedy performer for

2 seasons. Lesley has a deep love for improvisational comedy and was a long-time

member at The People’s Improv Theater’s Supernova Improvisational Comedy

performance residency.

 As a stand-up comedian he has headlined numerous shows for The African Princes

of Comedy Tour, Starr Struck Comedy, and Talent Tap"N which has made stops in

Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Atlanta, and

New York City. Lesley performs stand-up regularly in Dallas Texas, where he

has been a featured performer at venues such as the Plano house of Comedy and

the Dallas Comedy Club. 

As a host and MC, he’s graced the stage for high profile events such as Fest

Africa, the Nollywood African Film Critics’ Awards, Umu Igbo Unite, the

Nigerian Independence Day Festival, the Nigerian Independence Day Pageant, and

various cultural shows for numerous major universities (Including but not limited

to Georgetown University, George Washington university, Morgan state

university, Towson university, and Johns Hopkins University.)

Lesley graduated from Morgan State University with a degree in Marketing,

George Washington University with a Master’s in engineering, and the National

Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, with a diploma in acting for theater, film, and

television. He’s always been a lover of comedy and got his start as an on-air talent

and writer for Tagsoundz Radio.
